Who Invented The Computer?

Charles Babbage: The Father Of The Computer
The roots of computer technology can be traced back to the 19th century when the visionary mathematician and engineer Charles Babbage laid the foundation for what would later become the computer. In the 1830s, Babbage conceptualized the “Analytical Engine,” a mechanical device designed to perform various arithmetic and logical operations. Although the Analytical Engine was never completed during Babbage’s lifetime due to funding issues, his ideas and designs paved the way for future developments in computing.
Babbage’s groundbreaking work earned him the title of the “Father of the Computer,” as his Analytical Engine embodied key principles such as programmability, automatic calculation, and the use of punched cards — a concept later adopted by early computers for data input.
